The Fourth of July Kailua-Kona Parade (Tuesday, 07/04, 6pm): The overall theme of the parade is “Stars and Stripes Forever!” The church’s sub-theme is “Jesus Christ Super Star.” We need lots of hard-candy and cash donations. Please make checks payable to “Kona UMC” with “Parade” written on the memo line. We also need walkers to represent our church. There is a sign-up sheet available at the Ministry Table. The planning team meets every Sunday at 10:15am. Please speak to Larry Triplett or Dennis Bensen for more information.

HAPPY 28^th BIRTHDAY TO KONA UMC! The Celebration Team would like to offer church members and friends an opportunity to donate a birthday gift to the church. If you are uncertain as to the type of gift, kindly consider any of the items on the Wish List our church has compiled. You may obtain this list from the April Newsletter on page 17 or Joyce Brady. The entire amount of the item does not need to be donated.  A $10, $20, $50, $100 donation toward the item would be very generous and greatly appreciated. You may write a check payable to “KUMC” with memo “KUMC’s birthday.”

Easter Celebration Service featuring special music, a dramatization of Easter story coordinated by the Samoan Language Ministry and KUMC’s unique tradition- “The Easter Cross.” Please bring fresh cut flowers from your yards to put on the cross.
