Leadership

KUMC is driven by “CLay” Leadership, focusing on the spirit of collaboration between Clergy and Lay. It is a nonhierarchical leadership forming structure with decentralized authority and fewer levels while respecting the role of Appointed Pastors directed by the Book of Discipline. In this leadership, clergies are the equippers/resource persons, not the doers of the ministry. They are equipping lay leaders to do the ministry.

ALL members are ministers who are supported by the staff members and pastors!
